Stoak Nature Reserve, Stoak Picton

The stoak nature reserve is a small area of parkland which opens out onto the Chester canal.  The nature reserve is exceptionally well kept with flowers, picnic tables and a pleasant walk along the canal path - excellent for those owners who have dogs able to follow them on bikes!

Good points:

Despite being small, the area is well kept and has a medium sized wooded area along with the long canal walks in either direction offering some beautiful views of the Chester countryside

Bad Points:

The area is situated in between the M56 and M53 motorways - making it a noisy experience.  Also beware of the dogs which jump into canals to chase ducks - canals don't smell too good and aren't very clean! There are no Poo bins and a watch out for those poor people fishing on the side of the canal!!!

Overall – A small length walk but with good access to the canal which offers a pleasant walk or bike ride.

How to Find it:

Located in between Mickle Trafford and Cheshire oaks, use the map below to find out the exact location of the nature park
