Enjoying a weekend of Sunshine!

Georgie went to Liverpool Small Animal Hospital last week for a check up.  Her walking has really improved and she is now classed as only 1/10 part lame instead of the 5/10 part lame she was on her last visit.  Despite all the horrible operations at the hospital, she still loves going there and meeting with everyone. 

Her weight has increased from 19.6kg - to 20.5kg - which is mainly muscle which is developing on her back legs.

Georgie is going to continue with her weekly hydrotherapy sessions for the next three weeks to help build up the muscles in her back legs.  Georgie and our Labrador Che go to the purpose built canine hydrotherapy pool every Saturday morning where they have lots of fun and so do we watching them.

Georgie will need to go back to the hospital in three weeks time when they perform the Gait Analysis test on her to see which hip they will operate on first.  We are expecting to have a date for the first operation very soon after that so keep checking for further updates.

But she really is enjoying life at the moment – which makes us very happy!!!
