Dibbinsdale Nature reserve

Dibbinsdale Nature reserve in Bromborough is a wide open area suitable for dogs in the area.  It has parking for around 10-15 cars and has a wide range of hilly paths for the dogs to enjoy.  It has open areas combined with woodland and of course the Duck pond (Pictured)

It is quite a peaceful walk, for those dogs seeking a bit of solitude.  The woodland walks are always a pleasure for our canine friends and it offers them plenty of opportunity to sniff around "off the track"

Good points:

Good parking, and some really beautiful scenery and wildlife.  The area initially is flat but it then breaks off into 2 directions of mud tracks - so this isn't suitable for buggies. Going to the left at this crossing takes you onto a large empty field offering you a chance for some real dog play, whilst the stream leads to a large pond (lots of ducks!)

Bad Points:

Only one Poo bin (in the car park) which is never good as if there are no bins then people are less inclined to collect their own mess - so watch your steps! Also beware if your dog has a habit of chasing sucks and wildfowl.

Overall

A mixed and pleasant walk.  It offers great variety, Streams for paddling, forest areas to run through as well as a large lake.  The scenery is fantastic and this, combined with the nature in the area makes it an excellent walk.

How to Find it:

From Junction 4 of the M53, follow Brimstage Road towards Croft business park, and you will see the signs for this nature reserve.
